Two quick resources for you

A quick one this week. Friends have shared these two resources with me this week and I’m passing them along as I found them so helpful. I’m going to keep sharing a resource each week, along with future articles.

First, an article listing “Seventeen totally normal things to feel right now”.

This article underscores my theme of last week, which is that you might feel great, you might feel terrible, you might feel anything in between, and you might feel all of that within the space of three minutes.

If feelings come up, feel them. Issues arise when we try to bypass unpleasant emotions, or if we get stuck in unhelpful patterns.

No need to unnecessarily cultivate negative emotion though. Notice where you might be doing that (eg excessive media intake, poor habits causing fatigue) and consider where you can swap some of those habits for ones which cultivate positive states (eg exercise, good sleep, laughter).

Second, a sweet song about the shift to remote learning from a school teacher – enjoy…

Take care of yourself and others.
